Honeywell will join hands with Zhejiang Jiaao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. to build a large-scale sustainable aviation fuel production base in Lingang Industrial Zone, Guanyun County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, expand domestic sustainable aviation fuel production capacity, and promote the aviation industry’s carbon emissions through innovative technologies. Emission reduction will help China achieve the goals of “carbon peaking” and “carbon neutrality”.
Jia’ao Environmental Protection’s Lianyungang Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production Base Project uses Honeywell UOP’s Ecofining™ process technology, catalysts and equipment to produce sustainable aviation fuel from kitchen waste oil and animal fat. After the project is completed, it is expected to become the largest domestic aviation fuel. One of the first sustainable aviation fuel units to be produced using Ecofining™ process technology. In addition, Honeywell UOP will provide support during the plant design, site construction and project operation phases to help the project be successfully completed and put into production.

As a digital industrial high-tech enterprise, about 60% of Honeywell’s new product research and development is based on improving customers’ environmental performance and social benefits, and is committed to working with partners to shape the future of sustainable development and help China’s ‘double carbon’ goals and high-quality development. We are very happy to cooperate with Jia’ao Environmental Protection. With Honeywell’s advanced commercialization technology and mature solutions, and Jia’ao Environmental Protection’s more than ten years of experience in the deep processing of waste oils and fats, the two parties will build Jia’ao Environmental Protection Lianyungang project into a domestically feasible project. Continue to set new benchmarks for aviation fuel production bases to help the aviation industry reduce carbon emissions.
As one of the important means to promote the transformation of energy structure and achieve China’s ‘dual carbon’ goal, the biomass new energy industry has huge development prospects. As we all know, the core bottleneck for the development of biomass new energy industry lies in the procurement channels of waste oil and fat raw materials. Through the accumulation of supplier channels in the past two decades, Jiaao Environmental Protection has reached strategic supply cooperation with many domestic waste oil suppliers. The rich waste oil procurement re
